Positive Conflict

Ugh.  Conflict.  This is not my favourite thing.

I like this word diversity though – it sounds great and fills me with positivity…
But wait…

Yep, diversity sounds great, but it’s also closely tied to conflict.  So how do we turn this into a positive?  How do we harness the differing perspectives, opinions, communication styles for better decisions?

We can’t have diversity and avoid conflict.  We’ve got to embrace the two and work through the messy, grimy stuff in a way that *builds* our team, rather than diminishes it.

This week I talk about something I find really tough 🙂  But it’s critical to great team work.
